Chose County Cage for lunch with my mother after the decision, a beer sounded good with our food. You and I both had the Batting 1000 Burger with Fritten. The frits came hot and very well seasoned and I'm not sure I was breathing while I was eating them. The burger was on butter, grilled Texas toast, with 1000 island dressing and sauteed onions. You know where you sigh when you take your first bite? That's the one! It's an ugly burger. The menu says 1/2 pounds and I believe it. It was a little hard to finish so much burgers, but we had no breakfast (and it was SO good). No need for contingencies on this. Between the melted delicious cheese, the burnt Texas Toast and the 1000 island you need nothing else. Perfectly combined with an on-tap Jalapeno Cream Ale from Pals Brewing Company. While we only had a menu item between us, you can just say that everything they do will be just as delicious. Don't wait until the next visit. Maybe they have to try their Friday night primary flu.
