Coolest bar in the middle on nowhere you'll ever get hammered at....

Found this place by accident but it was great. We will definitely return to enjoy the patio some more. Friendly staff and great location.

GREAT small town saloon that still serves beer and drinks at reasonable prices. Awesome outdoor patio area when weather is nice. Decent menu of bar food items. Not a restaurant but it 's not supposed to be. Lot of history at this place, come alone or bring friends to this casual establishment

My boyfriend and I were in St. Paul looking at a house plan we were interested in and when I looked on Yelp a close-by restaurant and maybe two other places popped up. We opted for this for the 5-star reviews. Bars aren't really my scene, but it was exactly what you'd expect to find in a small town. I was surprised that music was a blarin' and it was pretty busy in the latter part of the afternoon on a weekday. What do ya'll do for a living? (Just me being curious) I ordered the prairie burger and skinny fries. I'm not sure if I was just starving and anything I ate at that moment would be amazing, since the long, middle-of-nowhere drive made me dizzy and a little car sick, but it calmed the nerves and I wanted a box to take the rest to go. The service when we were ordering was fair and the guy who brought us our food was nice. We tried to sit outside on the patio, but it looked like all the tables were occupied, even though only two parties were at tables. He was happy to clear one up for us. Worth noting: Sand volleyball court next to the patio, very cool Bar window to order if you're out playing volleyball

Enjoy Best Fish Fry during Lent! Options are catfish, cod shrimp. Both are amazing and the Hushpuppies and sides are delicious. No one in our party was able to finish the meal and we all went home. The staff is friendly and attentive. Expect a large amount and you may need to wait a bit until the food comes out BUT it is all so worth with!
