Akita Sushi and Hibachi - Saint Paul

Everything was nice, the food and the service, but we sat right in front of the bus buckets and there was only this content smell of bleaching and cleaning solutions. The place wasn't busy for a Monday night.

While the restaurant was busy and there was a little waiting time (clear, it is quite popular), our first impression was not great. The floors inside seem sticky and greasy, our table was definitely not cleaned, and it took several attempts and employees to get the right menu (we were especially looking for the regular dinner menu, not the all-you-can-eat menu). After that, the service was good, though minimal. The food was decent, nothing extraordinary. The salad that came with my Hibachi dinner had a great dress! I'd be curious to come back for some sushi or for the all-you-can-eat menu.

One of our favorite places! All you can eat is perfect to celebrate something, or just for a casual night out. Your sushi is always fresh and super delicious. Very recommended!

Clean buffet food, a wide selection of fresh to order, decent food and fair lunch buffet price. My second time after 5 years. A hostess is present and has set us up. It was soothing to see that our waitress and the majority of the staff were still masked: Our drinks were on our table within 10 minutes. The lunch buffet menu was easy to read and the pictures were helpful. The food was taken out 10 minutes after the order. Sushi was good. The udon fried noodles were tasty. The Udon seafood noodle soup is a decent size for a serving and plentiful and shrimp imitation crab meat. The curry chicken was okay. I didn't feel the food was very tasteful today, but it was still decent. My favorite was the red bean ice cream! The ice was fantastic! The bathroom was clean and kept.

Been getting sushi here for two years and it is always fantastic. Best sushi in the whole east side of the TC metro in my opinion
