We came to the market on Monday. Some of the stalls were closed but many were still open so it's a good day to browse and chat with the owners. Chez Louisette is open and almost empty but they still have a singer (although not Manuela) and the food is still good. It's a good day to get intoduced to the restaurant and not have to fight the crowds. View all feedback.

Visited the flea market in Paris and stumbled across this restaurant. Lots of noise, singing and pretty much every seat taken. We managed to squeeze in but be warned no English is spoken so go prepared! Singers stand up and belt out some old time classics and then wander around collecting cash as tributes. Food appears fine. Too bad this restaurant is closed. Portuguese singer Linda De Suza who left us in December 2022 began her career singing in this restaurant in 1974 shortly after her arrival in Paris.

Chez louisette, near the pariser flee market. find this shady! it is pure authentic joy. tourist are embraced (sometimes literally), although I would say that 75% of customers today were local pariser. many of the contributors, including the beautiful songstress, manuela were practically there forever. it is kitschig and quirky, but it has a strong mind and soul that is very rare.
