Malcolm Barnecutt Bakery Rock

Had 2 pasties that were fairly good, however we also ordered pannini's and one in particular was probably the worst attempt at a sandwich I have ever had missing a key listed ingredient... Cheese. I would have preferred not to leave a bad review here and would have just returned to give them a chance to rectify. Unfortunately I took my pannini to go and the bakery was closed once I had realised obviously this isn't the bakery's fault. Accepting human error and the missing ingredient (was supposed to be chicken, cheese and chilli jam), I'm not sure how they cooked the pannini, the top was like a giant stale crouton and the bottom was soggy. My partners pannini was the same in this respect. dry chicken and not so good chilli jam. Not great for a £5 sandwich in my opinion.

The staff are always really lovely, even when super busy. Also, so kind to my Dad when he pops in. Thoughtful and caring. Amazing bacon egg and sausage baguette. We came back a 2nd time to pick up some bits for lunch. Excellent food and staff.
