I wouldn't have believed it unless I ate it myself...this is BAR NONE the best pizza I've ever put in my mouth. I dream about it and I can no longer enjoy our local pizza (I live in BC) as much as I always...compare it to Pub 111. It's hard to describe the cheese wasn't greasy, the toppings were perfectly balanced, and the crust was perfect. So. Good. The roads were lovely and scenic the area is amazing to visit in b... Restaurant was busy and apparently didn't have adequate staff to handle the customers. We waited 20 minutes for the waitress to take our order, and after another 45 minutes without anymore visits from the waitress, we got up and left.Any of the other restaurants must be better than this place!
I wouldn't have believed it unless I ate it myself...this is BAR NONE the best pizza I've ever put in my mouth. I dream about it - and I can no longer enjoy our local pizza (I live in BC) as much as I always compare it to Pub 111. It's hard to describe - the cheese wasn't greasy, the toppings were perfectly balanced, and the crust was perfect. So. Good. The roads were lovely and scenic - the area is amazing to visit in both summer and winter. It's mainly French and I was travelling with my French Canadian husband but even so, the folks did try to communicate with me in English (he probably bribed them LOL).Hmmm...when can I get another pizza....oh the poutine is pretty amazing too. Had the smoked chicken - great!
We didn't want to eat a la carte again in our hotel so ventured into the town, we were a bit worried that no one would speak English or that the menu would all be in French but Pub 111 is an oasis ! the lady who served us was very pleasant and spoke Good English the menu was in both French and English, we ordered the chicken wings and garlic bread for starters and pizza and lasagne and fires (huge portion ) for mains, all fabulous, wholesome and very filling we couldn't finish it so the lovely waitress wrapped the pizza up to take out. The pub had a lovely vibe and we felt very comfortable. Excellent food and price 5 stars !
My husband and I had a meat sub at this place before returning home to NY. I guess the meat wasn't fresh...Needless to explain the details but we had to rent a hotel room near by and extend our stay :(
