What EastTNTraveler likes about Seagles Restaurant:
We wanted to try the Seagles since we are staying in the Riverview Hotel. After driving today we did not want to go out exploring and just ate close to home . Our choice was not a mistake. The salads were fresh and the dressings tasty. The fish and chips was excellent with very flavorful fish cooked perfectly in a light batter. The scallops with bacon jam sounded interesting and was excellent as well. Since we had no... View all feedback. What Jeanne B doesn't like about Seagles Restaurant:
We went with a group and had a few issues with menu items not being available. The food was just alright but the lighting is HORRIBLE! Cold white bulbs made our entire party look sickly. No one wanted to come back and sit under the hideous interrogation lamps again! Nice location but bad ambiance. Bar drinks were good. View all feedback.

read moreSeagles restaurant in St. Mary's offers a mixed experience, with some diners encountering issues such as menu items being unavailable and unappealing lighting, while others enjoy convenient location, fresh and flavorful food, and attentive service. The ambiance may vary depending on where you choose to sit, whether it's the bar side with live music or the quieter restaurant side. Guests have raved about dishes like the Blackend Salmon with carrot puree and the scallops with bacon jam, as well as the friendly service and lovely views of the water. read moreShrimp and grits heaven with perfect andouille sausage, garlic bread and a side salad for a reasonable $14.
The service was ridiculously slowWe were the only ones in there until a second family came in halfway through our meal.
The service was slow (on a Monday night in January) As a vegan, I always inquire before being seated.
