Years ago traveling in France with my parents we discovered Petiole on our way to Pau, and it was so good we kept returning. Grandmother oversaw the kitchen and two dishes I cannot forget were the magret de canard with green peppercorn sauce and their order in advance escalope de foie gras with green grapes. Reception always as pleasant (an apartment about the boss). the same card we appreciate on Sunday, but still limited on quantities. an interesting and varied wine map.
Discovery of petiole on the occasion of a lunch (which closed a morning of bookkeeping). on the one hand, we have the menu of the day less than 20€, and on the other a little more expensive regional map. in both cases, the plates are very well presented, worked and appetizing. with what it takes of originality. service is fast, pleasant and efficient. the 4 guests are very satisfied. Finally, the setting is very pleasant: several small rooms very beautifully decorated. Anyway, a very good address!
A pleasure to go to the restaurant. Excellent reception and a very professional service. I enjoyed rice with lamb and chocolate mousse.
