Absolutely perfect! Thanks to all the team of Altapura
Last years, from the top of the chairlift, I was seduced by the Altapura. This year we chose to stay there. Very good choice, a week in a very nice place, everything is pleasant, the warm welcome, the atmosphere, the kindness of all the staff, the comfort, the services, the Altapura has embellished our week devoted to skiing. Thanks to the manager and all the staff. A first and not the last, our only concern when we came back was to book our next stay in this establishment which we obviously recommend! Oh, I forgot, we enjoyed breakfast at dinner, the only small remark of the incredibly generous portions of the Laiterie restaurant for the raclette that forced us to make the impasse on a dessert! A charming hotel, with a relaxed atmosphere that we appreciate. Some ski 5 hotels can be awkward and stifling, so it was nice for us to be able to enjoy a place more suitable to our needs. A beautiful team has experienced too
My opinion is mixed on my stay at the Altapura because when the prices are high the expectations are also high. Having a little experience in a 5-star stay, I found some positive things and others frankly to be reviewed quickly: location rather good, the facilities are correct without wow effect either (olfactory identity of the hotel, decoration). A lot of disparity on the service side, that's the problem... some people are gems and others border on lack of respect. The 2 restaurants are OK but a little expensive, the young valet is exceptional. Decent breakfast. We are more in a 4 star than 5 star despite a high price. Adding 4% tips to the final invoice, indicating that it is optional, is simply unacceptable for this standard. If I have to thank an extra service I do it to the person in question!
