View all feedback.
Delicate talk with barkeep and solid food. classic pub atmosphere. I look forward to coming back.
1 year ago here at august. on the search for a place to dinner, we found this thanks to tripadvisor. it is a really great place! curry huhn with riddled, very good. the kerl is wheel! when he knew I was a Juventus fan, he started jogging me...very great memories of this place. I hope to come back one day!
We also stayed at the very lovely, Bon Accueil b&b and Jane suggested visiting The Oystercatcher for great food, beer and atmosphere it didn`t disappoint! The chicken curry went down a treat as we sat beside the log fire that just added to the...charm. The locals were really friendly and didn`t seem to mind our non existent French skills at all. Kevin was a fantastic host and had us feeling at home and howling with laughter within minutes of walking in, as well as introducing me to my new favourite drink I may have returned home with a little more cidre and Cassis than is good for me! It truly is a good old fashioned British boozer, but with better prices and bags more character, a must visit if you`re in the area and even if you`re not . Pool, darts and table football are all also available here as well as great music. The only down side was that we had to leave. Thank you Kevin, for the best night we`ve had in years, we can`t wait to return.
Highly recommend this English bar! Nice food, good quality alcohol, very reasonable prices, friendly atmosphere and the bar owner with a very fine sense of humor. If you want to mix up with locals and practice your French – this is the best place to...be in the evening!
