We stopped at Saint Mandrier sur Mer and had dinner at the creperie. The waiter was first class: extremely friendly, funny and efficient. The savoury crepes were richly filled and we decided to share 3 sweet crepes by 5 people, no problem. A very pleasant night! View all feedback.
What Poochpeg doesn't like about Creperie au Roy d'Ys:
Probably the most chaotic restaurant we have ever eaten in. The staff ran around like headless chickens. Granted, they had to keep crossing the road to get the food, but there was so much needless running back and forth. The food was only OK. The tables are really close together, so it was not a very enjoyable experience. I think they should visit L'Air du Temps in Toulon to see how it should be run. We ordered a bot... View all feedback.
A good place for a family meal with kids. But by no means a big gastronomic event. The portions are big, but the presentation leaves more to be desired. The crepes are ok, but no more than ok. Pleasent service.
We had only desert here this time, and unfortunately the experience was not very good. Our pancakes were literally drowned in sauce. Did not look very appetizing, and did not taste good neither.
We were travelling around the local area and stopped off for some lunch, there is a large menu with plenty of choice, very reasonably priced and with the option of sitting both inside and outside, our lunch which consisted of a main course for 2 and 2 double espressos and a jug of table water was €20, excellent value as food was delicious and perfectly cooked and we left well satisfied, if you are in the area it is well worth visiting.
Suite à mon dernier avis, nous y sommes retournés avec des amis, le 14 août. Evidemment, nous avions réservé, et heureusement, car bon nombre de clients potentiels n'ont pu être honorés, ce qui est normal à cette date.Les serveurs étaient en vrai rush et surtout, très réactifs et réellement soucieux de notre confort.Rien à voir avec la relâche d'après saison précédemment citée !J'ai été heureuse d'avoir retrouvé "ma cantine" : ses galettes et son service au top.
Accueil sympathique par une équipe dynamique et attentionnée qui ne prend pas les touristes pour simplement des porte monnaie.Un choix de galettes impressionnant.Le service est rapide malgré un restaurant plein.La qualité des produits est au top pour un prix raisonnable.Et cerise sur le gâteau, vous êtes au bord de l eau dans ce magnifique petit port de saint mandrier!Je le recommande milles fois!Vous faites honneur au VAR.
