In the Poitou for a family wedding, my brother discovered this lovely little oasis on the way to Saivres outside St Maixent-l'école. Entering through the cool and shady dining room, you pass through to a large conservatory with a wall of windows overlooking the wild garden. Nice setting although the garden is a little overgrown and wild! We ate in the conservatory surrounded by dusty tables. There was only one other party of three. The table was laid with those ghastly paper table mats advertising other places in the locality. There was very little choice. A very nice discovery. A perfect chorizo egg casserole. Follow with chuck steak with fries and divine vegetables. The delicious Apothéose cocktail to accompany this... in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Top bosses... In short, we'll have to do it again, that's for sure. Thank you for this wonderful evening.
A restaurant like I dreamed of, going against the grain of what is happening now. A short menu but only quality products. Taste the Paleron, the moussaka, the eggs mmmmmmh The setting is just as atypical, rural, with the wild herbs in the garden. As for the hosts, very pleasant and warm (thanks for the little vodka). It’s clear that for the fuss and such, look elsewhere. We passed it on our way down and back up on our last trip. We'll come back
Lovely welcome. The cuisine is homemade and you can feel it from the first bite. We'll keep the address for the next vacation.
A very nice discovery! The bosses are hot and coming. an atmosphere like the house. everything is made home and with passion. It was very good!
An excellent evening spent in La Potée Ose, a restaurant that deserves to be known. An excellent menu, real kitchen, a short card that gives confidence, all in an airy and pleasant... You don't know where to eat on Sunday night or Monday night? Go!
