I love the concept behind this restaurant: 2 couples- vegetarian wives and meat-loving husbands, started this restaurant so couples like them would have a place where both parties could order something they enjoy. What I ordered: I got the quinoa bowl. The flavor was somewhat meaty w bbq noted (even though it is a vegetarian dish). It was so filling. I was able to take some of it home with me for the next day! What Leo S doesn't like about Tuscan Tavern (formerly Mr. Bs):
Not sure what happened tonight they musta been off their game compared to what we expected from the high reviews. Sounded like they were pretty shorthanded and the bartender wasn't too friendly and seemed like he was in a bad mood from being so busy. The Brussels tacos were ok but I didn't care for the sauce. Too mayo tasting for me. My wife loved them though. The braised beef was very dry and chewey. Overcooked and... View all feedback.
This past Saturday I went here for the first time. I was able to make same day reservations for 6:00 PM. It was pretty empty when we arrived but it quickly filled up. I ordered the Amish chicken, moscow mule, and my friend ordered the smoked wings which was not listed on menu as an appetizer. The food, service, and ambiance made this all a great experience! Their sister restaurants include the block, and cleaver and cocktail.

Too mayo tasting for me. My wife loved them though. The braised beef was very dry and chewey. Overcooked and no love in this dish. My wife's salmon was just as bad being way overcooked and not as seasoned as we would have expected. She had to ask for another cup of gravy just to finish the dry rubbery filet of fish. The shrimp were a bit rubbery too. Overall a letdown for such a high priced meal and what we got tonight.

Overall I love the concept is great, the inside is cutely decorated, but there was no w o w factor. It was still a great experience, but I wanted to like it more than I did.
Came for a date night dinner with my wife. Booked an early evening reservation and had the restaurant to ourselves until about 7 when dinner really kicked in! All of the staff was wearing masks and had tables spaced out, so it never felt uncomfortable when it got busy. Much appreciated in these times! Ordered the brussel sprout tacos and beet side dish to start with, along with a couple of drinks. Drinks were nice and potent. Not watered down like some places. The tacos were good, a little salty for my taste and I wanted to be able to add more heat. Beets were a nice balance to them. I had the shrimp po boy sandwich and my wife got the salmon. Both were good sized and were dressed nicely. Not overdone with too much stuff thrown on the plate. Ordered dessert and coffee as a way to wait out the storm that was hitting as we finished dinner. Staff was healthily as we left and offered us an umbrella on our way out, but we were parked closer and just ran for it. Definitely a place we will be back to. I signed up for the emails and am curious to see what specials get sent!
The food is always fresh and delicious. Our device has always been on point. I love sitting on the patio with the pups. They have great adult beverages as well
