We can in from out of state for a funeral and were told we had to get at least one meal from The Pasta House before we left. 4 orders of spaghetti with meat balls, a bag of rolls, and 2 salads, and 3 bottles of their own dressing later and we had a great meal. Essen was excellent, but they did not have enough servers to handle the number of tables. The atmosphere was different.
Came in the last minute for a lunch pickup (the day of Clayton Art Fair, so I thought it was a nightmare. The hostess/server was friendly, patient, knowledgeable and fast with my order. The order was complete, well packed and had all the necessary extras (butter, utensils, etc. on arrival home. The food was delicious Chicken Flamingo is my favorite dish and I can not seem to order anything else (although other dishes are delicious here, nothing is so hard, well balanced, light and tasty like Chx Flamingo . I later ordered a salad for dinner and of course, this has not disappointed that I am always happy that they do not begin to jump on ingredients or portions and respect their own reputation. The lunch special is very reasonable and even the dinner price is nominal for the amount of food you receive (and there are always specialties that if I would ever eat anything else.
Placed an online curbside pickup order, the email said that my order would be ready to 4:55 pm, so I came at 4:50 pm. I parked in the designated parking lot and wrote the number on the flyer outside the building for board pickup. After I wait 15 minutes in my car, no one came out and brought my order. After all, I had to go in and pick up my order, and it wasn't ready. As soon as I came home, I checked my order and realized that the roles they gave us were very hard and cold, they contained no butter and only 2 sets of utensils. Overall, the meal was okay, but because of this bad experience unfortunately I will not come back. I do not understand why they are available as an option if it is not used properly.
Very nice dining experience. It's very intimate and personal and the staff is nice and accommodating. You'll really enjoy it.
