The Block Webster Groves - Saint Louis

Had a nice experience here on a busy Saturday night. They were able to put us in 20 minutes as an invasion. The staff was nice and friendly, and all wearing the sweetest sweaters. Recommend the blow feta. Our burgers were so fresh and were hot hot. 10/10 great service and incredible food.

Food was quite good overall, a bit over price for what was offered. We had 3 steaks at our table and some other entrees including Salmon. The steaks were well cooked and were quite tasteful. I had expected to see more offers for their steak selection as well as more options for cooking styles / accompaniments for the steak itself. Auxiliary dishes were limited as well as from what their menu shows. Long story short it was overpriced for what it was. Good food, but not worth returning to what it costs and would have expected an increased level of service and ambience. Not to say the service was bad, but it didn't fit the price tag.

Great food, good service. You need to add more tables, as they grow and turn away due to longer waiting times, has hindered my interest in return. The online booking system was broken for a while 2. Sometimes I showed up because it said they weren't busy and did not take reservations and was said it would be 1 hour waiting. Please note that you can add further tables and set your online reservation service for your loyal customers or lose in the future.

Very happy hour! What a great one that started with Jeremy, our excellent server. A deep understanding of the menu gave us time to enjoy our cocktails and never to feel rushed. The walkway table was so comfortable and well spaced, the weather was nice, and I was so surprised to see all the activities of people of all ages. Now for drinking and eating. I started with an old fashion and it was excellent! My wife also had the Chardonnay very nice. We started with the Flatbread special, which had braided short ribs, then the meat balls with Polnta and then the beet salad. Great combination. We've finished the peach/believe cobbler. I look forward to going back and tasting more dishes.

One of the best steaks you can get in Webster Groves and surrounding area. Their customer service is what really makes this place shine. The servers are always armed with valuable knowledge pertaining to cuts, beers, and seasonal items on the menu. Don't get me started on their cast iron cookie.... it's a must have. I am practically drooling over it now. I will be back.
