Absolutely delicious food! The buffet is a great choice if you want to sample a variety of dishes. You can also order from the menu; I usually go for the fried tilapia—it's one of my favorites! The ginger hibiscus hot tea is delightful if you enjoy sweet and slightly tart flavors (I believe they serve it chilled, but I prefer it hot). The staff and owners are incredibly friendly. I visited this restaurant a few months ago and was quite impressed. The Nigerian man at the front who took my order was really nice. However, when it comes to management... I was the only customer there, yet it took about 30 minutes for my food to arrive. Simba Ugandan set up at Amazon to offer their cuisine, and I was thoroughly impressed. The Sambusa was simply delicious, and the young woman at the counter was exceptionally polite. She provided a fantastic explanation of a dish I had never tried before. I will definitely be back for more!
The food here is absolutely fantastic! They offer a buffet option during the week, but you can also order from the à la carte menu. It's a family-run establishment where mom does the cooking while the sons assist her. The dishes are delicious. This is a great place to satisfy your craving for African cuisine!
Simba has fantastic food! It's the only fish dish that my 8-year-old has ever finished entirely.
The food, the music, and the amazing host will surely make me return for more.
Last night, four of us dined at Simba Ugandan, and we had an amazing experience. Since they don’t offer wine, we brought our own and enjoyed each other’s company as we awaited our meals. We anticipated a bit of a wait since everything is made to order, but it was absolutely worth it. The food was delightful! We started with a plantain appetizer and shared four different entrees: chicken, pork, vegetables, and rice, along with their special bread. Everyone loved each dish. While this isn’t the spot for a quick meal, it’s perfect for a relaxed and delicious dining experience.
