I made my friend here for our anniversary and it was amazing! The servers were really friendly and the place is really nice inside. We have to start the vegetable plate, which was amazing and large enough to be his own meal. (The word decadent was used). I've got the chicken Tandoori half plate that was more than enough, and he got the chicken trophy that definitely stole the show. We're coming back! View all feedback.

I've been eating Indian restaurants for over 40 years, here and in the UK. That was the best in Saint Louis. Last night, however, was a less than stellar experience. My husband and I were there, and the staff all the time, even to ask for his order. My husband corrected this and moved me. I asked for a madras and was asked how sharp. At Saffron Indian Cuisine, our dinner was excellent. Although it is a bit more sophisticated than your standard Indian restaurant, the establishment delivers food that is both traditional and authentic. Our dinners were good and cooked to the desired level of heat. A wonderful mood is created by the eating area's impeccable cleanliness and beautiful decoration. Both attentive and cordial service were provided. We'll undoubtedly come back.

The interior is beautiful. I will give the owner that. However, there was no lunch menu. It's the same as dinner. There were no lunch specials at all. There was once a lunch buffet but not any longer. I ordered the shrimp tikka masala. There was maybe 5 shrimp in the dish. What few shrimp i got were like rubber. Rest was an overly spicy pungent sauce. I asked for medium spice. Way too hot. That dish was nit worth $18.00!!! I seriously doubt i return. Very disappointed. Kid-friendliness: Not child friendly at all
