I have been using LaChef Catering for years, and I can't recommend Jen and Melissa enough! They are both incredibly knowledgeable and manage their business excellently. The food is consistently delicious. Melissa is always so friendly and patient as I choose the menus. Our guests always praise the food. LaChef understands our home, my preferences, and our requirements, helping us to host flawless gatherings every time. You won't regret it! And don't forget to have the caramelized sweet bacon at every event—it's a must!

The receptionist's attitude was extremely rude and dismissive over a simple question.

For smaller gatherings, we often use their pickup or delivery service for dinner parties with about ten guests. Their menu is so diverse and delicious that we can invite the same people multiple times without repeating dishes—though I do get many requests for certain favorites, especially appetizers! The candied bacon is absolutely addictive. In addition to their extensive menu, they’re also open to collaborating on custom meals if you have a favorite recipe. Mary, the kitchen queen, has a gift! She prepared an incredible Irish stew and colcannon for St. Patrick's Day that exceeded all expectations. During the pandemic, we've often taken advantage of their dinner-for-four option, which is perfect for close friends you feel comfortable entertaining. It’s customizable to your preferences. The Lachef team is approachable, down-to-earth, and accommodating, yet skilled enough to cater events fit for royalty. The tea they prepared for me could have easily impressed a queen; the lavender egg salad sandwiches alone were worth polishing the silver! You can’t go wrong with Lachef! I like to support good local companies run by good people making a good product. La Chef Catering checks all these boxes. I work at a local hospital and during the pandemic you may recall news stories about restaurants donating meals to front line workers. We received meals from all over the St. Louis area and I am not even remotely exaggerating when I say La Chef was consistently mentioned as the BEST meal we had dropped off for months and months by our staff. Keep in mind nearly every day someone was donating meals that is a lot of competition. You will not be disappointed.

We had LaChef's Dinner for Two, which included four meals. The food was delicious and packaged very well with easy reheating instructions. Highly recommended!
