Great little coffee shop in Compton Heights! I have stopped here multiple times, and have always enjoyed grabbing an espresso or snack here. My personal favorite menu item is the vanilla cappuccino! I highly suggest ordering an Egg Sammie with bacon;sandwiched between a house-made everything bagel is a farm-fresh fried egg, cheddar cheese and delicious slices of bacon. Great coffee, food, and hospitality! Favorite coffee shop in town!
The neighborhoods surrounding Tower Grove Park abound with good coffee houses/eateries. This one is an absolute gem! Great coffee, aesthetics, food, and staff.
Fabulous atmosphere. Whether you want moments of solitude with a book, or a long chat with a friend (or the staff! , Kitchen House Coffee has something for you. I go for a regular cup of Joe, and I 'm usually persuaded into a savory pastry. I 've yet to try their 'fake coffee, ' but I 'm intrigued! Paul and the staff have a good thing going, and I 'm poised to be a faithful neighborhood regular. Where do I start a tab?
Loved it. Quiet but with a vibe even on a weekday. Especially the friendly staff who didn't roll their eyes at me when I couldn't figure out the password for the wi-fi. Can't wait to go back and try other things.
Had a nice hot chai, lived their chai blend. The veggie egg casserole (quiche) with salad greens was also very good excellent friendly employees and a great atmosphere. Will be back the next time I'm in STL.
