Irish Corner Pub - Saint Louis

My mom and I visited because of the five-star rating, but I don?t know how it got that. The service was slow even though we were two of ten people in the bar. The pub atmosphere is ok, but the fish in my fish and chips was chewy. Four bites was all I could muster and I was done. The batter was fine and the fries were fine, but I was quite disappointed with that fish. My mom had a grilled cheese sandwich, which I also tried, and it was ok, but literally just American single slice and some white cheese I couldn?t make out. The bread was good. This might be a fun place to go for a pint, but the food? Not so much.

Such a great atmosphere! We visited again on Memorial Day, which is the Cherokee Caravan...the entire street is a big festival of FUN! Had a great band, and food from the grill out on the street was so yummy!!Food: 5/5

Great little bar, I had the smash burger, which was smashing excellent. I also had the Sephards pie, which was very good as well. The lady working the bar was friendly, and they knew all the regulars by nameFood: 5/5

It was St. Patricks Day so place was hopping. Bar service was pretty good with the crowd. Only problem I have is they really need to do something with the men's restroom. In this day and age it's not really acceptable to have a bathroom in that kind of shape.Food: 3/5
