Everything was beautiful. The server was sweet. The ambiance was stunning. The staff was upfront about the added 20% gratuity rate 2 hour meal limit (which is gracious). The food is flavorful. The rooms were very inviting and intimate with plenty of elbow room and space for dishes. The servers are knowledgeable about their dishes and make great recommendations. I would recommend. What Anthony Frisella doesn't like about Indo:
We have eaten here several times. My main complaint is value. This is not fine dining with attentive service and lavish dishes. I found it hard to stomach the $280 price tag for our meal for two, and was shocked at the $60 price of a short rib entree. The dining room is cramped and the chairs are uncomfortable. Server was knowledgeable but otherwise unexceptional. Our appetizers--gyoza, potatoes, shrimp toast-were OK... View all feedback.
Absolutely amazing! One of the best restaurants in St. Louis. Each dish we had was so rich and flavorful. The atmosphere is awesome too dark and intimate. It was a great experience. I highly recommend the tempura corn appetizer, chili noodles, fried hamachi, and chocolate matcha marble cake.
The servers are so kind and knowledgeable. It’s a fine dining experience at its best. Top quality. Interesting flavors. Try the “omakase” (chefs choice). It’s expensive. But if you’re a true foody looking for quality sushi in St Louis, this is the one.
Amazing food. As a sushi lover I love when I can still be surprised and experience something totally new. The staff was perfect and everything about my experience was great. I’ll definitely be back.
Indo was phenomenal. Excellent service, great food presentation, and the vibe felt intimate. Perfect place for a date. The food was absolutely delicious. They change their menu between seasons, so I'll definitely be back.
I 've eaten plenty of sushi in my life. This is in no way a claim to being an expert in all things culinary, but I would losely use the term, Experienced Foodie. With that snippit of information, I can confidently, with no reservations whatsoever, share that iNDO is the BEST restaurant I 've ever eaten at. Not the second best, first place, hands down, and that 's not me being hyperbolic.Every bite was the newest best bite I 've had. The staff was full of knowledge, without the puffery. The atmosphere was appropriately quaint and intimate. I cannot stress how good this food was. The best restaurant I 've ever eaten at doesn 't mean perfection, however. Because I feel the need to be transparent, even if it 's very LIGHT criticism, the Palm Sugar Ribs were slightly dry.But that 's it. No other negative mark. This joint is as close to perfection as it gets. Here 's what we tried in our dining experience: Palm Sugar Ribs Isaan Hamachi Bluefin Sashimi Big OmasakeMy only regret is that I was too engrossed in the meal to take more photos.iNDO, I 'll see you soon,Jacob Rodgers?
