Companion-ladue - Saint Louis

This place is busy. My family and I came in a Sunday. A Deli friendly feeling/bbq joint. You go to the line first order and take your tablet of food to a table. Some of the reviews I read made me nervous to come, but the food was worth it and the staff was patient and friendly! I have chickens in the field? It was so delicious! And my husband has the special?red October and Mac n cheese. The mac n cheese you have to get! They also make half orders of sandwiches. I wish there were high chairs that my 1 year old loved all the food and told Bye to all as we left.

Crazy! The Mexican staff accused us of stealing a coffee. We paid and had to wait 20 minutes until he made it. They serve the Ladue customers! Chicken salad tasty

Always great food and Rodrigez is always here and very friendly and helpful. Great service and awesome food!

I'm gluten-free and a vegetarian - I ordered a gluten-free veggie egg sandwich and waited 15 minutes. I received an egg patty (which the staff later informed me contains wheat flour) with 2 slices of bacon and cheese! I didn't know until I was home, so I couldn't give it back. Very disappointing!

The food is usually good. However, I had a bad experience on my last visit. I ordered a half south of the border salad with extra avocado and received a whole salad with no avocado. Then, I had to wait for my order to be corrected and was charged for the whole salad anyway. I just left ?????
