Chef Ma's Chinese Gourmet - Saint Louis

What an INCREDIBLE place! The food is amazing Chef Ma is a true delight. You can taste the love he has for his craft the pride he has in his wonderful restaurant! We had the fried calamari in tempura it is the best we've ever tasted. The white fish with organic vegetables was to die for..the swordfish was fantastically fresh! The pot stickers were perfect the fried rice is the absolute BEST! Chef Ma makes his own sweet sour sauce you can most definitely tell the difference between it those crappy little packets. There are so many appetizing things on the menu that we cannot wait to try! We will ABSOLUTELY be back....and soon!!

Amazing food! Chef Ma is a great guy, he will recommend dishes if you are unsure about anything. Never had a bad dish there.

Chef Ma's has a wonderful assortment of authentic and Americanized Chinese cuisine. The food is consistently excellent and I've never been disappointed. It's a good thing I don't live close to Overland, otherwise, I'd probably go there a couple times a week!

The food is exceptional, crafted with fresh ingredients by a 2008 Iron Chef winner who truly cares about his customers and the community. He pours his heart and talent into every dish he creates.

This restaurant offers fast and authentic Asian food that is as genuine as it gets. The flavors are fantastic. Just so you know, I've been to China and spent five days eating in a local home, so I can really tell the difference between American Asian food and authentic Asian cuisine. Some ingredients differ, and for example, in China, they don't use soy sauce—it's actually a Japanese thing.
