Byrd Barrel - Saint Louis

This place has the best chicken and waffles in the area! My only suggestion would be to add more seating and improve the syrup. Everything we tried was delicious.

This restaurant is fantastic! It features a welcoming, modern design. The **** Byrd is made from scratch and includes a delicious chicken dish! Everything was served hot and perfectly seasoned. Alex and Brandi display excellent teamwork and genuine hospitality. Great job!

I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, which my friend highly recommended and my server also claimed was the best on the menu. It was, without a doubt, the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. The chicken was incredibly tender, the sauce was flavorful, and the shrimp were fantastic! I’m not usually a fan of coleslaw, but whatever was in this one was exceptional. I can’t recall what other toppings came with it because I devoured the sandwich so quickly, but they complemented the dish perfectly. It’s rare for me to eat something at a restaurant and think, “That was so good, I want to order another right now!” But that’s exactly how I felt at Byrd and Barrel. I definitely plan to return and enjoy another Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, and I highly recommend that anyone who loves chicken sandwiches do the same.

Best chicken burgers in town. This place has great fried chicken with different and delicious dipping sauces. Great range of beers and friendly service. This place never lets me down.
