Balkan Treat Box is the best food truck we have ever eaten at in Portland or Tulsa. Bread was made fresh in a wood fire oven on the truck, beef, chicken and sausage were perfectly flavored. We tried all 3 dishes- Pide, Chicken Doner, and Cevapi! Servings are very generous and beautifully served! View all feedback.
What Citlalli Jones doesn't like about Balkan Treat Box:
Friday and you all know what that means! we have our shrimp buzara pide and our riblja CORBA(Fish stew) specials on deck today and we can wait to feed you! online ordering is live more View all feedback.
I liked the vegan options they offered. it was nice to finally have some Balkan options on vegans when you have the chance to try them, take it! they are selling quickly!
We have made some breaks near and this restaurant found by happy cow. friendly staff, and eating was delicious. I had the döner with tofu, and it was delicious. we have already recommended this restaurant to our vegetarian neighbours.
Balkan-Treat box is so good; I highly recommend it. her menu is very marked, which items can be made vegan or vegetarian and the staff is very good knowledge. the main options are the tofu doner, pide with vegetable meat, or the lahamacun with either spicy flower cabbage or vegetable meat. I have them all and I'm not sure what I like best! They make their wood-fired brot in the house, and it's wonderful. the sauces and aromas are also great. While there may be a lot of vegan-friendly Turkish eating, the restaurants I have seen do not have many if any vegan options, which is another reason that I was so happy to find balkan treat box. for a fast-call place it is a bit expensive, but eating is worth it. the personal is friendly, and they are very efficient.
Very vegan friendly the menu is clear with what can be made vegan, and the person who took our order was worth knowing about the menu and veganism. that was so. tasty. we have the lahmacun and patlidzan and would both get back. When we were there, there was a HUGE line. they made it good and it moved quickly, but expect them to wait a bit.
There is about 8 things on the menu and half of them are vegetarian and can be made vegan if you just ask. So far I’ve been here twice. Tried the Pide and the Patlidzan. Both were amazing and super flavorful. Can’t wait to go back!
