La Fourchette - Saint-Léonard-des-Bois

Had dinner here. very good French food and very cheap. service was good and restaurant clean and neat. recommended.

This was our second visit to this friendly facility, which was here last year. the staff was equal and friendly, attentive and friendly. we hadn't booked a table and were still welcomed. the restaurant is small and beautiful with good view. it. is a limited menu and it is not the cheapest eat. I had the steak that was nice. my wife had the fish. we found that eating was better at our last visit, although this time it had nothing wrong with it. we were just not blown away.

When they find themselves in st leonard of bois, you have to stop here. we found this place randomly and have ever had us happy! the cooking team and all their guests were so nice and friendly. we have traveled around france. since over a week and this is my favorite place so far. try the fish/mussel dish. it is really the best thing my son was in the position to taste the meal that had eaten the staff. it was so good he could have eaten. I hope you can go there!

This small restaurant is located on the main road through Saint-Leonard-des-Bois. there are simple parking a few hundred meters away (outside the church). the restaurant is opposite a great pizzeria and we chose la fourchette because we had tried the night before pizza (they are everywhere. here) and we wanted something local and quality. la fourchette didn't disappoint. we had luck getting a table because the restaurant is small (only a few tables) and it is clearly popular among the locals who are always a good sign. the chef seemed to be responsible and met us when we entered (it is more open plan and he cooked everything himself). the only other person was a waiter who was attentive and helpful, although the chef always came to the tables to chat with friends and make sure everyone was in order. there were only really two main courses that you could get fish or bark. we had one of them, they were both excellent. we had dessert, and that was not disappointed again. we expected a heavy bill because this was really a very good restaurant. we were pleasantly surprised that it was very reasonable. the chef was on the hand to offer us a good night when we went (he was outside the chat to another place). good eating, a nice restaurant and a very pleasant experience.

If you find yourself in St Leonard des Bois you MUST stop here. we found this place by accident and did we ever get lucky!!! the chef + crew and all of their guests were so nice and friendly. we have been travelling around france for over a week and this is my favourite place so far. be sure to try the fish/mussel dish. it really is the best :) my son was able to try the meal that the staff were eating.. it was soo good too, he could have eaten x2 plates. i hope you can get there!!
