Le Castel De Glane - Saint-Junien

Hidden at the rande of a retail park, this restaurant could easily be missed. we heard about it and saw the building, but never got in. that has finally changed and we are glad that we have made it to lunch. we had the menu du jour, reasonable...price at 19€ with a selection of two appetizers, two netzens and three desserts and there was a manageable and well selected wine list from 15€ per bottle. from outside, the restaurant looks attractive in an old building, complete with tower. inside it is spacious and the team was inviting. as it was a beautiful day, we were delighted to discover an attractive garden terrace with a view of a large walled garden with impressive young egg trees. we will certainly return to the lunch a la carte menu and see what goes in the evening, but I think we need to book before the place was quite full for a Wednesday afternoon.

Beautiful restaurant, very helpful staff, which has spoken English, of course not necessary, but can make the visit a bit easier if not flowing in French, great eating is very well presented at 14 euro for 2 classes at midday for this quality is...very good, 3 courses also available, l very recommended and l will be back at my next visit

A wonderful restaurant with first class staff, great atmosphere and excellent eating, service was very fast and the staff was very attentive and friendly. the meal was presented very well with great love for detail. simply excellent.
