Note that when it's a little fresh, you have the air currents on the door when you're under the little veranda.

We turned up here on a grey and rainy Sunday, the gentleman on the door asked if we had a reservation, when we said no her very quickly arranged for a table to... read more We turned up here on a grey and rainy Sunday, the gentleman on the door asked if we had a reservation, when we said no her very quickly arranged for a table to be made available,,,,, he must be a magician because within minutes the restaurant was packed with no spare seats. An no wonder this place is not called La Frite d'Or for nothing. We had the hamburger and chips wow, the burger was succulent and juicy with fresh salad and a lovely sauce. The chips golden and crisp REAL chips not frozen. The staff worked hard ensuring everyone got their food and drink quickly. I would suggest if you want to go here you book particularly on a Sunday. We aim to go back next time we are in the area. The price was good too
