Amato's - Saint Johnsbury

Manager was very rude. In the background, the women who have taken our order scream that we have to call a hr forward. We called at 11:00 a.m. He screamed so loud that we had to give her our order again. When the order was picked up, he came zooming and wanted to know where we had a menu. We won't order again. We're always healing and letting a tip. The woman who took our order apologized that she could not hear. She was very nice on the phone and picking up. Day before I picked up, he also spoke very loudly with the help that demanded why there was a backup. They did the best they could. It was very busy.

Amatos gets a star because the manager was rude and abusive for his employees and customers. I was so embarrassed for the female employee who worked so hard to take our order while this manager repeatedly shouted at them. We order a few times a week and love to support our local companies, but Amatos will not get our business as long as this abused man is allowed, responsible for the employees and allows to treat customers with such taste.

The food was delicious, but the manger is rude and does not seem to want to take orders over the phone. Couldn't get a menu, said there were no menus. We order at least twice a week, I can assure you that we do not order there as long as this manager is still there. Customer service is very important. We are very polite, always give a tip and want to support our local businesses.

Order a sandwich with mayo and mustard with no salt and pepper just had ham, cheddar cheese, lettuce, spinach on it they made it completely wrong with oil on it and slat and pepper no mayo or mustard it was gross

Gone there twice for sandwiches. Both experiences awful. First time the guy was touching papers and cans etc while he was waiting for my sandwich to grill. No gloves. Second time I ordered a Turkey sandwich, they gave me ham. Therr was hair in it and the tape they used also had a wad of hair stuck to it.
