We have been dining at Coursey's for 50 years! The bacon and ham are undoubtedly the best. The food is always delicious and perfect for any occasion, but especially shines during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. The service is excellent, and they offer delivery meals. The average price per person ranges from $20 to $30.

Seriously the best smoked meats in the world. The only problem with them is they don't ship their meats and cheeses except bacon. It is addicting. In fact my mouth is now watering just thinking of their meats and cheeses. I always get the snack pack (little ziplock of meat) and it doesn't last 5 miles down the road. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20

Coursey's is among the many restaurants highlighted in the newly released book, *Classic Eateries of the Ozarks and Arkansas River Valley*. Be sure to check it out and order your copy at classiceateries.com! I understand the need to alter highway routes that have evolved from Native American trails, postal routes, and dirt roads to improve safety. However, I will never grasp why the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department chose to reroute U.S. 65 between Coursey’s Smoked Meats and Ferguson’s Country Store on the south side of St. Joe.

This is the best bacon I've ever tasted. We live in Nashville and have it shipped to us. I would choose this bacon over a fine steak any day.
