What Joss C doesn't like about Hôtel Des Pyrénées:
Emblematic restaurant in Saint Jean Pied de Port. My memories of the beginnings of the 80s of the establishment in its magnificence which unfortunately has suffered the weight of its institution over the years (and perhaps restrictions). I hope it regains its prestige for prices/quantities that match its competition. Location: 5 View all feedback.
I was never disappointed by the hotels in the Les Collectionneurs network. Again, performance is high. The view is beautiful and the very comfortable rooms. Everyone's relaxed. The restaurant has a little less pleasure, but what to say about the exceptional character of the hotel. Thank you all for your kindness.
The desserts are excellent. Very good dishes. Only a few little negative notes: they don't give any bread when you don't have any more, too little duck in the menu at 75€, no choice on the menu, nothing to wipe your hands in the toilet.
Home unadapted, not at the height of a starred restaurant...
We ate at the restaurant. The menu at 115€ was excellent. Very fine, delicate and marked tastes. We have enjoyed it. The second one serves a little below, but I'm not a big fan of basic chocolate. Very good wine accompaniment. Very friendly service!
Very good reception, the gourmet restaurant at the height of its star chef. I highly recommend.
