Jill's Chocolate Cafe

We were a big group, about 40 people, to celebrate a birthday. It looks like the place is not used to cater to this kind of event. Food was downright awful. The vegetable soup tasted like a reduced V8. The magret of duck was cold and tasteless. The halibut was cold and rubbery and dry (was left too long in the oven after the cooking. . The dessert was barely edible. Only the steak was barely ok. And it was expensive. Every single person in our group was utterly disappointed. Will NEVER go back here.

We had dinner and breakfast included in our package. The dinner was excellent and the portions were very generous. We wished there were more vegetarian options, but the one we had was delicious and plentiful. The breakfast was also good. The service was good and the staff was friendly, especially during check-in.

We took home some of these wonderful chocolates for family back home. They have Nova Scotia themed shapes and interesting flavours

A very pleasant & tasty surprise to be found on the premises of the Iona Heights Inn. The initial taste test came as a lovely touch in our motel room. Complimentary mints- delicious !Jill does an excellent job with her assortment of chocolates. The Maple flavored one was a bit faint , we think.but the Glen Breton one is awesome & the coconut as well. Sea salt and caramel was very nice.Great gift items !!I'm looking ahead to Christmas and you can order online. Keep up the good work.
