The Island Grill - Saint James City

Great food at great prices and the waitress Sara was fabulous! The peaches French toast was fabulous and the love of my life loved his corn beef hash.

Food was good staff was super friendly and very intentive

We took our kids out for breakfast last weekend, and it wasn’t our first time at this restaurant. Our group of five was asked to wait outside until a table became available. We stood there for 20 minutes, watching several empty tables inside. Once we were finally seated at one of those tables, the hostess/waitress quickly sat two more tables within the next ten minutes. She and another server took their drink orders but completely overlooked ours. After sitting at the table for 20 minutes, she finally took our drink order, even though we were ready to order food. She insisted on getting our drinks first. After she brought our drinks, we placed our food order, but it took another 30 minutes for the meals to arrive, and half of our food was cold or basically inedible. Meanwhile, those two tables we had seen earlier had already finished their meals and were leaving as we started eating. As full-time residents here, I can confidently say we won't be returning!

Had an excellent breakfast at a great price this morning! The Pine Islander is more than enough food! Service was fast and friendly and the food was a really good quality and prepared as ordered!
