Absolutely LOVE this place. Everything about it was good! The Honey Prawn was my absolute favorite. I couldn't stop thinking about it since I've been there. Of course, I tried the Xiao Long Bao, very tasty. The Pan Fried cake with marinated beef had a very crispy outside and beef was not dry at all. Shanghai noodles wasn't too greasy. The prices were not bad at all, for the quality of good. I would definitely... View all feedback.
NOTE: As part of the ChineseBites media event, all food and beverages were free, but all opinions are based on my own experience. Lin Chinese Cuisine and Tea House is just a few blocks down from my office on West Broadway and we usually order take out here during busy season. From my previous experience, it wasn’t exactly the greatest, so I was curious to see what there was to offer during the ChineseBites media event.
Came here for lunch while waiting for a tire repair nearby. We came at the right time as it became very busy and full shortly after. I ordered a simple tofu vegetables from the lunch menu. Portion side was small but just enough. Taste is good as well
Tbh I don't like Chinese food that much but this place is definitely good. I like the way they make their dumplings; they look really nice and they have a good amount of flavor. Their veggie dumplings don't have noodle and tofu bits like other veggie dumplings I've had, but it was good; it had a fresher taste. I also got the noodles with veggie roots, which I thought was a pretty unique dish.
Their soup dumplings here are pretty good and at a reasonable price! But what really stood out to me was their signature noodle soup dish in chili oil sauce.. Soooooo bomb. I don't usually opt for noodles as I am never a huge fan, but this was it!!! Every bite I could tell the noodles were soft and made fresh and the broth was sooooo yummy!!!
Top notch Chinese food.<br/ <br/ Excellent variety of lunch specials that can include a main of choice with soup and rice. <br/ <br/ The ever so popular Spicy green beans lived up to expectations, the green bean itself is crunchy coated in an oily glaze with a burst of onion/garlic flavour. It’s sweet savoury all in one.<br/ <br/ The pork fried rice was fragrant comes in a big serve! The right amount of saltiness that wok fried flavour round this dish out to be delicious. <br/ <br/ The corn soup was a nice warm starter, very wholesome cooked strands of egg whites with pieces of corn small amount of chicken. Wish it had more chicken in it. <br/ <br/ The ‘juicy pork dumplings’ as they call it is delicious. Dumpling bursting with pork soup pork mince filling. The accompanying vinegar brings the classic to life! <br/ <br/ The servers are all very lovely. Bringing tea to your table after you take your seat. <br/ <br/ My recommendation- check out the affordable lunch time specials!
