The kind of place that ignores you if you don't look like them. It sucks to say, but that is how it felt. Went in with my daughter and sister for some cake and was entirely ignored standing at the counter for about ten minutes with no one else waiting. Amazing crepe cake just the right balance of crepe and cream. This one is on the softer side, but I liked the texture. Not overly sweet, which I really appreciated. Good atmosphere and nice staff too.Just a bit too expensive for dessert it's around $12/slice depending on the flavor, which can be a meal at some places. Probably no more than 1 3x a year for me; I imagine that if it were $5 cheaper, I'd probably end up coming every other week xDAnyhow, I would recommend you try at least once.
Their matcha crepe cake is one of the best in Vancouver. The girl that served us is very kind.
I’m from out of province and wanted to order a cake for my in-laws for Father’s Day. The person I communicate with on Instagram was the sweetest. They were super helpful and accommodating with helping me order. I really appreciated how patient they were with the questions I had, especially with recommending a delivery service for me to use.When I asked my in-laws if they enjoyed the cake, they said the loved it and finished it within the day! Definitely recommend Cake Bae if you would like to make any occasion extra special.
I think the Nutella cookies here are way better than the crepe cakes. That is unfortunate since the crepe cakes are the specialties. I'm picky about crepe cakes and my gold standard is Lady M. I love how there are so many different flavors of crepe cakes here. I just think the filling is a bit heavy. It is not the light and fluffy texture and mouthfeel of a good crepe cake. The two crepe cakes I tried (strawberry tonka and matcha) are similar. The staff said the strawberry tonka uses a heavier cream but I think the matcha is about the same. While the crepe cakes are nice, the heavier texture is not what I'm looking for. The Nutella cookie is really good if you don't like chewy soft cookie. The cookie has a light outer crisp but it it doesn't crumble all over the place when you bite into it. The flavor is on point and is not overly sweet. I'll get the cookie when in the area instead of the crepe cake.
