What Joana Marés doesn't like about Java Joe's:
When heading north it can be difficult to find veg options. I was excited to try this place so we crossed the bridge and were extra hungry. What a disappointment. We tried to order during usual eating hours and were told their ovens weren't on. This place seems to be a bit too relaxed with their schedule for hungry family travelers. Call ahead before visiting...or risk going hungry. View all feedback. What Keenan Torp likes about Java Joe's:
it is super sweet inside and the coffee is very good. I have the vegan frittata. They were from tofurkey so I could add the veggies. it was not the best vegan breakfast I had (from the Detroit region to come) but the best for many miles, that is good enough for me! updated by the previous review on 2021-06-10 updated by the previous review on 2021-06-10 View all feedback.

read moreThe restaurant in question seems to have a mixed bag of reviews. While some customers were disappointed by the lack of vegan options and irregular operating hours, others were impressed by the variety of vegetarian dishes and the engaging decor. The coffee was a highlight for many, although there were some complaints about the confusion and slow service during busy times. Overall, if you're looking for a charming spot with good coffee and a decent selection of vegetarian options, this place might be worth a visit, but be prepared for potential inconsistencies in service and menu offerings.
