A Disappointing Stay Amidst High Hopes We were filled with excitement for our weekend stay at the chateau, but our experience fell drastically short of expectations. Our encounter started on a negative note, where the receptionist was extremely rude during our inquiry about the on-site dining options, to the point of raising his voice and telling us to 'get out. ' With two expectant mothers in our group, a lack of basic amenities like hot water further ruined our stay. Our discomfort escalated when we discovered cockroaches in our room—a clear lapse in cleanliness and hygiene. Despite prior communication, our dietary preferences were completely disregarded, which left us scrambling for suitable meal alternatives. This was a far cry from the hospitable and accommodating experience we were anticipating. Unfortunately, based on our awful stay, I find it hard to recommend this chateau for a serene and enjoyable weekend getaway. Extremely Upsetting!!
