We are a family of from NYC came to stay at the resort for winter-fun activities. While staying we decided to try the on-site restaurant. The staff, the food and presentation were amazing. Great choices of main course and deserts. Will definitely recommend. View all feedback.
Waiter, wine expert could not ask for more, entrees of scallops smoked salmon duck excellent. Main course of Cod a big disappointment, was not hot from the kitchen, would expect a restaurant of this calibrer to be so much better, a bucket of cold water on otherwise perfect experience.
We had dinner at the resort and had a beautiful view of the lake. The staff was attentive and interested and willing to help us decide on meals. We had the rack of lamb and blackened cod; both were cooked to perfection. Desserts were so incredible, we couldn’t narrow it down, so we ordered 3 desserts blueberry 3 ways, passion fruit macaron and gelee, and crème brûlée… all were outstanding!! Do NOT miss out on the opportunity to dine at this restaurant!!
Although the service was quite slow, the food here is really first class. I had filet mignon, beautifully done, both nights. I had pea and bacon soup one night that was delicious. They serve lovely h'ors d'ouevres -one night was duck tartar. We had delicious desserts including creme brule, several decadant cakes and cheesecakes and all washed down with great wine. You can have a 4-course meal at a set price of $47.50 or a la carte. This restaurant serves breakfast and dinner. Very lovely room, and the staff all speak english and french.
This restaurant is worth the drive from Toronto to St. Hippolyte! The food is excellent quality and our waiter, Samuel, was delightful to meet.
Our meal at the Restaurant was delicious. My wife's salmon and my pork chop were both done to perfection, and the beet appetizer was simply fantastic. Our servers were very friendly and made us feel at home throughout the meal. Merci, Auberge Du Lac Morency.
