Always excellent customer service and food is so filling !!
Prices may have gone up a tad to keep up with inflation but still the same smiling service and quality food.

For the 2nd time in 2 years they have reworked the menu, removing a number of solid choices in favor of what I can only assume are cheaper options. They have chosen to go with a new quirky naming gimmick that will only serve to further separate themselves from their already shrinking customer base. Seriously, Vics-a-Dilla 's and Burricos ? Absurd. Beyond simply reworking the menu they found it appropriate in today 's economy to give a 10% to 20% price increase across the board, something they had already done a couple years ago while simultaneously not at all improving the overall quality of the food. But hey, at least they 've made enough money for a total remodel and a nice catering truck, really must be struggling with the rest of us.
I knew this place was getting expensive, but the quality of the food was high enough to at least somewhat justify it. However, after not eating here for a few months, I recently ordered a Cali burrito (which are now called ‘burricos’ ? . I noticed the prices had gone up from last time, which began to make me question eating at Victorico’s again. The Cali had gone up from $11 to $13 in the time I was away. Then I got home to tear into my food and took notice of the size. The burritos have noticeably shrunk slightly. “Alright,” I thought, “I’m done with this place.” But did it at least taste good? Well, I started eating and realized that something was not right with the Cali I ordered. In fact, I don’t think it was a Cali at all. It seems my order was messed up and I was instead given a breakfast burrito, unless the Cali was dramatically changed. In either case, it wasn’t a great burrito. If it was a breakfast burrito by mistake, it was bland and somewhat dry. If it was a new version of the Cali, it’s inexcusable. The Cali is normally one of my favorite burritos to order from Victorico’s and if this was just a modified version, it’s awful. If it was a mistake, that would be understandable as it can happen at any restaurant. However, in light of everything else with my recent Victorico’s experience, it ends up being the final nail in the coffin for Victorico’s receiving mine or my family’s business ever again. St. Helens has better and more economic Mexican food options that aren’t sacrificing quality and customer satisfaction for more money. Even national chains with lower quality food are more economical at this point. Do yourself a favor and eat at any of the other places. Don’t eat at Victorico’s.
