Rond de Carotte

We had dinner in this restaurant. it was a wonderful experience. the eating was absolutely fabulous, the wine selection was perfect staff was very helpful to advise us in the choice of the weine to go with our meal, the service was excellent and beautiful....Very pleasant and cozy. this restaurant has surpassed our expectations and we will definitely be back.

Thanks to covid it is a year since we could visit this fantastic restaurant. it is still as good as ever, great local cuisine excellent cooked in a friendly and relaxing atmosphere

I booked our table before leaving for France, which was very easy to do. Marie gave us a very warm welcome. It was the smaller details that were so lovely - a small ceramic tile for resting our cutlery, little gougère for example. Sitting outside in the heat, we enjoyed (starters) pan cooked squid, delicately flavoured with garlic and parsley; also a tomato and herb 'round' with a red pepper sauce. We both had 'lieu jaune' for our main course which was exquisite...... that kind of meal that makes you go 'mmmmm aaaah' and sigh because it's so beautiful and delicious yet enough to eat. My partner had the cheese plate and I had a panacotta type desert with gooseberry purée. I passed by the small kitchen where the food was cooked and it was an area of calm and concentration. They've got this right - food, ambience, menu. It isn't the least expensive restaurant, but is well worth the money. It's special.

Dinner at Rond de Carotte with family. One of the best meals ever. The food was delicious, the presentation both beautiful and delicate, the atmosphere welcoming, cosy and intimate. the restaurant was absolutely full, small talk was going on at every table and not once was it noisy. Everyone in good mood, enjoying a good meal. Very very pleasant! The 5 stars doesn't make Rond de Carotte sufficient justice!

Lovely little hidden restaurant in St-Gervais with seasonal fresh and authentic food with creative dishes. Love the 60's deco and great carte des vins. Booking is recommended in the high season.
