Overall, this restaurant offers a solid selection of dishes at reasonable prices. Be sure to try the baked beans and banana pudding—they're particularly delicious! The ribs and wings also come highly recommended. Just keep in mind that finding parking might take a bit of patience.
I decided to give this BBQ restaurant a try while passing by, as it looked inviting. However, the food didn't meet my expectations. The brisket was tough and dry, which was disappointing. They didn’t even offer smoked sausages, which are typically a staple at BBQ joints. The mac and cheese, which should be an easy and tasty side dish, was dry and cold, making it difficult to enjoy. On the positive side, the pork ribs were good. Ultimately, a BBQ place thrives on the passion of its cook, and this one seemed to lack that enthusiasm. Having tasted some of the best BBQ in Texas, I’m afraid this place didn’t leave a lasting impression, and I don’t think I'll be returning.
Really good BBQ, slaw and corn! The pulled pork is excellent and so is the smoked turkey!
The ribs melt in your mouth. Red beans rice—perfection. The only reason it's not 5 star is their Mac Cheese failed to impress me. Everything else I've had there is top notch.
Stopped for happy hour. Got a beer and an order of delicious fried okra. Great service beer food and atmosphere.AAAA+
I was disappointed with my recent visit to this restaurant. The sauce that was drizzled over the meat really detracted from its flavor; had I known it would come this way, I would have asked to have it left off. The mac and cheese seemed overcooked, coming out dry, sticky, and lacking in flavor—definitely wouldn't recommend it. The beans tasted as though they were just taken from a can and warmed up. The tomato and cucumber salad was also quite bland; I ended up leaving most of it untouched. To top it off, there were no combo meal options available, which is unfortunate. I mentioned to a staff member behind the counter that the Dr. Pepper tasted overly syrupy. She replied that she only drinks diet soda and said it tasted fine, but trust me, it was not good at all.
