Chez Marso - Saint-Gabriel

During our family holiday, we visited this restaurant. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly, but the food was mediocre. We ordered lasagna, which seemed to be made with cheap supermarket sauce, and the chicken in the club sandwich was bland and dry. The water we were served was strange - we couldn't tell if it was tap water or if it had been sitting out for too long. Overall, we were very disappointed with the simple meal that was prepared poorly.

We went to this restaurant many times last year and the submarine sandwiches are incredible. It's hard to find anything better. The burgers and fries were delicious, and the fish and chips were also very good. The service was friendly and overall a great experience.

My group of 8 dined at the restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised when the waitress found someone who spoke English, which was a nice touch. The teenagers in our group enjoyed the food. The restaurant did a great job with the preparation and presentation of our meals. The food was delicious and we had a lovely view of the lake. The only downside was that the prices were a bit high.
