I dont speak or understand French but to my surprise the Chef came out to my table and explained both the food and drinks menu in detail Resulting in a wonderful experience the food and wine were matched perfectly The service and the ambience was impeccable View all feedback.
What Roger H doesn't like about L'Archestrate:
There were some good points but we were worried by the apparent lack of professionalism of the staff. Had they been to training school? Did they have to take a smoke break where I could see them halfway through lunch service? The food was a mixed experience. Starter of a beetroot presse was OK, the pork a little dry, the fish frankly tasteless. If the is the best in St Dizier, I despair! View all feedback.

From crossing to Saint dizier, we only wanted to spend a pleasant time at the restaurant, 90 € for two, the service is absolutely not at the height of the price, unpleasant waitress, who gets mad because they ask him the origin of Champagne, mistake in the dishes, a chocolate sticker too cooked, and crazy thinking when we paid, the 2 basic rules in restoration : smiling and friendly, here, deplorable, for 90 €, one can, without problems find better, better and above all better served, I do not recommend at all!
Very welcoming staff. We invited my grandmother for her 90 years. We were placed in a cozy little corner. The staff helped us install it. We really enjoyed ourselves. Thanks again. We'll be back.
