July 2019. Always find Campanile good for an short stay on our journey to and from Italy. Update July 2023. Room was freshly decorated but tea making facilities have been removed. As it was a Sunday the restaurant was closed but a Mc Donald's and an Italian restaurant are five mins walk away. We have been using Camponile for a number of years now and the cuts to the standards are becoming more evident. View all feedback.
What LenaCKent UK doesn't like about Campanile Saint-Dizier Restaurant:
We ate in the hotel restaurant as we were staying the night. The waitress was very nice but the food was not great, my swordfish very dry and very small portion but the chips were fine. Starters and deserts were buffet style, not a huge choice but nice. The main issue being that they were very slow to replenish. The same could be said at breakfast. View all feedback.
It is no longer a Campanile but a Kyriad. This has changed a lot, the entrance to the building is very small compared to before. The dining room has shrunk to make way for a lounge with a big TV, no more service at lunchtime but only in the evening from Monday to Thursday. Very light breakfast buffet. In the fruit cup there was just a few fruits not much choice. In the rooms there is no longer a courtesy tray. Too bad it was better before with Campanile.
The Campanile is now the Kyriad. The room we had had been freshly painted and smelled strongly of paint. The bathroom needed a serious descaling.
The rooms should be updated! Especially the clean but old bathroom. Buffet breakfast pleasant welcome
Hotel that deserves a refresh. Broken toilet flush, very variable shower temperature, wifi with no flow. Clean room and friendly staff.
Good price ratio. A little long
