The Place - Saint Cloud

Had breakfast there with my son for the first time this morning. The place is tiny and it was full at 10:00am. A good sign of great food! We sat at a booth but I admired the bar seating where you could watch your breakfast as it was being made. Above the bar are chalkboards where whimsical characters were drawn adding a casual, artsy flavor to the place. Our server, Maria was very friendly, courteous, and attentive without making us feel hurried. We ordered the omelettes with a side of pancakes. The cook himself delivered our meals within 5-7 minutes. Maria, was there with him to see if anything else was needed. This gesture gave us the impression that the cook was proud of the meal he was serving. The serving sizes along with the amount of meat and cheese in the omelettes were extremely generous! In fact, neither of us could finish. The pancakes had a hint of sugar and cinnamon in them and were not run-of-the-mill. The hash browns were made to perfection. Not too greasy and with enough crisp to the sides. In 'The Place, ' along with Maria 's wonderful service, we feel that we have discovered one of our most favorite places to eat. We can 't wait to share it with our friends and family.

Best 'Old School ' diner around. Amazing friendly real life staff. 'Dinner and a show ' is what you get when you come here. Great portion sizes. Cheap prices. Everything is cooked in front of you and it has an amazing atmosphere. If you havent eaten here i would reccomend it. It 's worth a try for sure! New owners have really done a great job at getting this 'place ' back into running order. I LOVE IT. firmly believe you wont find anything thing at this magnitude anywhere. The cooks are a riot. Jason the manager is very down to earth. Great conversations with everyone. I cant say enough about this place.

I just had breakfast here for the first time since the ownership changed, and it was fantastic! The waitress was friendly and efficient, and the cook did an excellent job. She came to my table to let me know that the potato pancakes aren’t the traditional German style, but rather a type of pancake filled with potatoes, which I really appreciated. The atmosphere has improved significantly, and the food was served quickly, hot, and delicious! I can’t wait to go back and try the lunch menu. I've definitely found my new favorite breakfast spot!

They serve some of the best apple crisp pancakes I’ve ever had! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is fantastic as well. This has definitely become my new favorite breakfast place in St. Cloud.

I'm very impressed with the appearance of this establishment, and the renovations are stunning! It feels so welcoming as soon as you walk in, and the service is both quick and friendly. The food is, as always, fantastic, making this a wonderful spot for families to enjoy delicious meals in a relaxed environment. We will definitely be returning time and time again!
