Giliberto's Mexican Taco Shop

The #8 combination meal is quite delicious. I enjoyed one of the burritos and brought the other one home. The burritos are a generous size for the price. I definitely intend to return and order this meal again.

It used to be one of the most budget-friendly places to eat in town, but unfortunately, the quality of the food has declined while the prices have continued to rise. The corn is decent, but there's no way it should cost $5 per cob. At this point, it feels like outright robbery.

I visited one of the St. Cloud locations on a Friday night, and the prices for the food are quite reasonable, which makes it incredibly busy. After waiting about 30-40 minutes and seeing several customers who ordered after me receive their food before me, I decided to ask about my $8 breakfast burrito. Miraculously, it appeared just a minute later. It seems that when a Gilberto's location is really busy, the meat stays tender and flavorful, unlike the Blaine location I tried once, where the meat was quite dry.

I got the bean and cheese burrito with added shredded chicken and it might have been the best bean and cheese burrito I've ever had. It was so delicious. It was stuffed so full that I had filling all over my hands but I didn't care because it tasted so great. This was my first time going here and I can't wait to go back. I might not eat at any other restaurant for awhile because of how great my food was. I highly recommend Gilberto's.

Ordered chips and a 16oz container of red salsa. What we got was definitely not red salsa. It looked and smelled like broth, possibly broth that goes with Birria Taco. Drove there and back specifically for chips and salsa just to not be able to eat it. It was busy so I understand if it could have been a mistake.
