Hands down the best streets tacos I ever had in the Middle West. The staff was friendly and helpful, the dining room is clean and beautifully decorated. But who cares because the food is just amazing. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Tradicional 636:
I usually like this place. But today I ordered a Torta Cubana and got something completely different. And one side of French fries is missing. I'll show what I've received, instead of total. That was an execution order and I didn't look like it was right. I'm home and I'm super disappointed. View all feedback.
My husband and I decided to try out a new Mexican restaurant based on a Google recommendation. I ordered a chicken taco, and I felt that something was off about it. The next day, I was unwell all day and I'm pretty sure it was food poisoning. This wasn’t my only issue. We asked to add lettuce, sour cream, and tomatoes to our orders, only to find out later that each topping came with an additional charge without any prior notification, which caught us off guard. Furthermore, we found it quite uncomfortable that one of the servers just stared at us for the duration of our meal. We will not be returning to this restaurant, and I hope this review helps others avoid the same food poisoning experience I had.
It was so warm inside, the air conditioning wasn't working. As well as everything sticky due to humidity or just not being clean. I wasn't sure of which was the answer. Table, condiment shakers, napkin holder all. Yuck!I ordered the chicken fajitas. They had a great flavor but extremely greasy. Steak tacos my son had, he said they were good. He poured a little cheese dip on them also.Chips also looked tasted super greasy, almost like they were partially fried left in the oil to cool. Then, they dropped again to warm them up. (If that makes sense. Their is no salsa or pico to dip the chips in. Just a red or green sauce. Neither of which had a significant flavor profile. I did mix some red green in with the cheese dip. Made it a little better, but not much.
We stopped in here on a road-trip based on Yelp reviews and my girls were not happy with me......service was awful, we had to ask for menus after waiting for some time after seating ourselves, then had to ask for chips and salsa after ordering and getting our drinks, same experience with silverware and then the food came which was a just ok....we love local joints but I'd drive to a chain before stopping here.
Incredible! It feels just like home. Be sure to leave space for their flan and tres leches cake!
Genuine food and a fantastic experience! I ordered the carne asada taco along with a side of rice, and it was absolutely delicious! The house sauces for dipping are flavorful and have the perfect level of spice. I can't wait to come back!
