My sister and I enjoyed our first meal here tonight, and everything was fantastic! Our server, Allison, was particularly amazing—she treated us like we were old friends! View all feedback.
What Willis Y doesn't like about On The Border Mexican Grill Cantina:
I had the most disappointing dining experience at this restaurant. I will not be returning. I've heard people rave about how great the food is, but for my family—my two kids, my wife, my father, and myself—it was a complete letdown. We spent $100, and the food was terrible. The meat in my bowl was so dry that it was nearly impossible to chew, and the rice was overcooked and hard. My wife ordered a salad, but it came... View all feedback.
Quaint place that has survived the years. Nice updated menu fitting for people watching their weight. Service was top notch. Keeping our drinks filled and checking to see if we needed anything.
We have eaten here three times this week (no kidding). The food is so good and fresh! My husband loves the taco soup and the Steak Asana. I've had the steak bowl and the enchiladas which were delicious also. The margaritas are great too!
Stopped in for lunch before a local meeting. Bartender was friendly and attentive, food brought out was exactly what i ordered and the brisket tacos were tasty. So why 4 stars and not 5 you ask? Simply because of my chain restaurant rule. I've never been blown away by a chain restaurant...well not yet at least.
Great enchiladas suiza. My favorite meal hear. Chips and salsa are fantastic!!
They were totally unprepared for the Christmas Eve crowd. We waited for 5 minutes at the front desk. No one ever came. So we sat ourselves in the bar area. The server was completely frazzled. I asked 5 times for silverware. The food was mediocre. The tortilla soup tasted like someone dropped a salt shaker in it. I would recommend going anywhere else but here.
