Magpie's - Saint Charles

I was more than a handful of time here, and I admit I have no picture of the fare, but I will say that I enjoyed the atmosphere and the experiences I had for lunch and dinner on several occasions. The baked bride, the salads and crepes for dessert are my favorite note. If the weather is nice, I recommend the terrace. Great place. Visit your own pleasure.

Integrated, cozy café with a good menu of sandwiches, salads, flatbread pizza and pasta. The smallness of the room gives the ambience of intimacy; the food was good and the waiter was friendly and attentive. Do not go without dessert (or enjoy lunch and have dessert instead! . I recommend the chocolate powder Brownie or the cherry cake. I'm recently on the terrace wonderful!

Came here as a child and thought it would ever make sense! I thought I'd come back to try the quiche I remember so sweetly. Needless to say it was still as good as I remember! I'm out and live in Texas and come to Old St. Charles hadn't had the chance to come back. I'll be back next time.

This is my second time, and both were 10/10. We did the honey pizza and it was so good! It is a 40-minute drive for me and pain in the back park, but so it is worth it! The first time I went on a cool day and they had fire everywhere and it was the perfect atmosphere. I couldn't say enough here!

Gave this place 5 stars at one point. Not any more. Has absolutely gone down hill. Unfortunately it might have only been because of the server we had. Server was awful. Waited on the 3 tables that came after us and consequently we waited quite a bit longer for our food yet we were the rest table to receive of check, even though we hadn't even finished. Food was not as good as it has been. Music was lovely as usual. What a shame. It has been such a great place and we visit often but this experience was terrible. We won't be back for awhile. Hopefully by then they will regain the great staff they had. Disappointed.
