The food here was especially delicious, particularly the egg rolls! The service was friendly and surprisingly quick. The drive-thru option makes China Town a great choice for a weeknight outing, but there's also plenty of space in the very casual dining area for groups when needed. View all feedback.
What Marta Legros doesn't like about China Town Express:
Under new owners avoid! Nutshell we both felt sick afterwards. We hadn't eaten all day, we split an order of orange chicken. Broccoli was cold with ice crystals. Chicken was cold. We both developed diarrhea. Long wait for cold food nope! We miss the former owners and their attention to quality. View all feedback.
Great drive thru Chinese food! I was here several times and every time was delish. the prices are good and the portions are generous. the chicken was tender and properly cooked. the bark had a good body and was well seasoned. I highly recommend this place. Note that eating is cooked to order, so it is not as fast as the other chain food place, but eating is fresh, hot and delicious even when they come home!
I’m in town for work from GA and love a good Chinese spot. This one is close to my hotel and had a drive-thru so I tried it out. I ordered pot stickers and lemon chicken with fried rice. The pot stickers were great as was the sauce that came with it... some of the best I’ve had. The lemon chicken and fried rice were lightly flavored, but not bad. I’m used to my Chinese food being drenched in sauce and oil, so this was an unexpected pleasantry. I can appreciate the freshness. I will definitely continue to order from this spot while in town.
I love a Chinese food drive thru. Especially one who is open late and on holidays. They've added a plastic shield to the window and they have always worn gloves and visibly changed them. I think its genius and probably the main reason they have become a staple of First Capitol for so many years because the food is fairly average. But I'd rather average Chinese food on X-Mas Eve at 9pm then none at all.
Husband had beef and broccoli entree. Beef looked very pale compared to other similar restaurants. I had sweet and sour pork and it was good. The sweet sauce had an odd color but was very good.
